After a day and a half I needed to get back to the frame. You're not supposed to let the rust sealer cure for more than 7 days after the second coat to apply a top coat. You can, you'd just have to scuff the surface with 220 or 280 grit sandpaper to help adhesion, but I didn't want to deal with that. So, after 2 days, I applied the Anti-Graffiti 111 (AG 111) epoxy top coat.
This stuff is a 2 part mixture. One part is the pigmented paint and the other is a hardener. This stuff is also extremely noxious and the use of a professional grade charcoal respirator is mandatory. Even using one, I was overtaken by the fumes and had to take numerous breaks. I also got new filters for my respirator, just to be sure I was breathing clean air.
Frame fully coated in AG 111.
This took an incredible amount of time since I need to cut in all the weld seams, body supports and nooks with a brush. The rest I rolled with a foam roller, but it's done. I think this took 5.5 hours, which was kind of mind blowing since I was able to do 2 coats of rust sealer in just over half the time.
